Charities Focusing on Families in Need
Fostering Futures - we gave a $50 donation to CASA from our MOMS Club account for their Angel Tree, which provided a holiday present for a foster child.
Family Promise - we gave a $100 donation from our MOMS Club account to Family Promise of Las Vegas, which meets homeless families immediate needs for shelter, meals, and comprehensive support services.
Mother to Mother Fund - we gave $50 from our MOMS Club account to this organization, which helps needy families within our own MOMS Club international community.
Peggy's Attic at Child Haven - we donated gently used clothes for all ages and children's toys to Peggy's Attic, which serves all children touched by the Family Courts.
Toys 4 Smiles - we volunteered at Toys 4 Smiles, a non-profit organization that makes wooden toy cars and trucks to give away to children in need. We dropped off two boxes of wooden toys we made to two local Children's Hospitals for their playrooms and bed units.
WestCare - MOMS Club donated gently used women and children's clothes, toys, and furniture to the women and children's clinic at WestCare, which is a residential facility for moms and their children while the moms are in drug rehabilitation.
Project 150 - MOMS Club donated school supplies to Project 150, which is a non-profit organization that helps local homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students stay in school and graduate.
Shade Tree - we donated essential items and gently used women and children's items to this shelter for homeless and abused women and children.
Street Teens - we dropped off a homemade Italian dinner and essential items for homeless teens.
